You are the author of your own story and yet we often believe that the pen lies in someone else's hand. The word Dynamis is a Greek word found in the New Testament meaning power. Such as in 2 Timothy 1:7 where Paul tells us that "God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” The aim of Dynamis Counseling, then, is to help empower individuals in their lives and help them to achieve the change they desire.

Dan Ellenberg, MA, NCC, LPCA
I am a professionally trained counselor with a masters degree in clinician mental health counseling from Liberty University as well as a degree in the integration of psychology and theology, also from Liberty. I am EMDR trained from the EMDRIA institute and am certified as a national certified counselor and a licensed professional counselor associate* in the state of Kentucky.

Our Story
I started Dynamis Counseling as way to fulfill my calling and mission in serving Jesus Christ. While you don't have to share my spiritual beliefs to benefit from this program, I do believe strongly in my purpose to value people and serve others in what I do. Those values come from my personal faith which I integrate into my counseling when appropriate.
