This just refers to general counseling for any issue you may be seeking services for. While we specialize in porn/sex addiction and trauma, we also treat depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, personality disorder, and more. We also offer couple's counseling for marriage therapy and Christian counseling for those seeking a faith-based integration into their therapy experience.
EMDR Therapy
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Trauma can come in many forms. When trauma is stored in the brain, it remains a dysfunctional memory which the body feels the need to protect itself against. Therefore, your past becomes your present every time something in your environment triggers the memory of the trauma. This can happen consciously or subconsciously. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is a unique therapy specifically designed to target these dysfunctional memory networks and allow your brain to heal them, ultimately freeing you from this process.
Porn/Sex Addiction Therapy
Although porn addiction is a rapidly growing issue, there are few trained professionals who specialize in treating it. Here at Dynamis Counseling, we specialize in this area and believe we have found a unique and effective way of overcoming this difficult struggle.
